I am an adventurer who has traveled to many countries as well as finding many rewarding adventures close to where I live in California.
At the moment I am on an adventure in Poland, sightseeing in several different cities. I do not like to go to the big tourist cites, I like the adventure of going to the smaller cities where I can learn more about the “real” country, people and culture.
I think that Poland has it’s own distinct culture! It has some parts of Eastern and Western-European cultures. I admit that the Polish language has been difficult, but I have learned a few basic words and I have been pretty successful communicating with most Polish people with a combination of my poor Polish, their English and some hand gestures!
My profession is an engineer at an aerospace company. Our company makes systems that help save lives of crew-members of aircraft and spacecraft. I am passionate that my work has a direct effect on saving people’s lives.
I like a woman that is intelligent, educated and is engaged in her career, but this does not mean I want a “high-powered” business shark! I like a woman that is soft around the edges and nurturing . It is very important to have a balance!
It is also important that she shares my interest in leading a healthy life-style and that she is not overly materialistic.
I have many interests, but one of my favorite interests is aviation. I developed this interest early in my life as my father is a pilot and I earned my Pilots license too. I enjoy flying airplanes to visit many interesting places.
Because I like to live a healthy life-style, one of my other interests is learning more about how our bodies work and allow us to do all of the things that we do. It is amazing to think how we can turn food into energy to allow us to think, move, laugh, love and all of the other things that we do!
Speaking of laughing, I have a “silly” sense of humor so I like movies and performances that are silly. I like movies such as Mel Brook’s “Frankenstein“. His movies always seem to tickle my funny bone!
I also like Sci-Fi, intrigue and drama movies, with the best being a combination of all three! I think that the movie Oblivion with Tom Cruise was very interesting, it had several twists in the plot that kept my friends and I guessing!
